STORIES

For me, photography is a combination of artistic vision and technical mastery. This individual work is not only a reflection of the photographed subject, but also of my view on the world. The images are often emotionally charged and tell a story. I hope they invite you to look beyond the surface and discover the layered meanings that are embedded in every carefully captured moment.

"Where Vulnerability and Hope Meet"

PROJECT WOUNDED

In a world where wild animals are daily victims of human indifference, this project documents the silent cry for help from wounded souls. From herons with arrows to hedgehogs lost in paved gardens—each image tells the story of a life begging for recognition.

But amidst the suffering, a story of hope also unfolds; through dedicated volunteers and the unspeakable joy of a successful release.

This is more than photography—it is a plea for compassion, a call to action, and proof that every life, no matter how small, is worth saving.

"Where Past and Present Join Hands"

OLD FLANDERS

At a time when traditions evaporate like morning dew, this project seeks out the silent heroes who keep our heritage alive. From the focused gaze of a lacemaker to the proud stance of shrimp fishermen on horseback—each image captures a moment in which history is still unfolding.

These are not museum pieces, but living stories. Associations and guilds that pass down finch-making, hands that practice archery like their ancestors, and families where crafts are passed down from generation to generation.

What was once taken for granted is now cherished with loving care. In each portrait, you recognize the dedication of people who refuse to let what has been part of our identity disappear for centuries. Their passion not only saves techniques and traditions—it saves our soul as a community.

"A Last Glimpse of a Vanishing World"

EXIT AFRICA

This is more than a photo book—it's a visual testament to a continent in crisis. Where majestic leopards once roamed freely, fear now reigns. Where giraffe populations flourished, emptiness now yawns.

40% gone in just 30 years.

Each image carries the weight of an urgent story. Pangolins dying for miracle cures that don't work. Seal pups succumbing to economic myths. Seven of the nine ostrich species already gone forever.

These photographs are silent witnesses to an irreversible exodus. Within the beauty of these final portraits lurks a heartbreaking truth: we don't simply photograph animals, we say goodbye to them. Exit Africa is both a declaration of love and a warning—a window into a world we risk losing to our own indifference.
