Exclusive Limited Print From the Series "Animaux du Monde" - Printed on Hähnemulle Photo Rag Fine Art Paper.
Nearly half of all cat species worldwide are threatened with extinction. Back in the 1970s, leopard populations plummeted in many areas because of the fashion of having a leopard-print coats. Today, not a lot of people in the US and Europa would even consider wearing a skin coat but, unfortunately, in some parts of the world it is still considered to be a status symbol. All leopard species are listed as protected, although African countries allow licensed and controlled hunting for trophies. Leopards are accused of killing children and cattle and so it is very difficult to enforce the protection laws.
